UMS BAND CAMP

An opportunity for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade Urbandale band students to help them start getting back in shape for band. Students will have full group rehearsal time, small group sectionals, and will learn about instrument care and maintenance. *Just a Reminder Note: Students will meet in the UMS band room and should wear comfortable clothing.

Please, bring your own instruments and Essential Elements Lesson Book 1. Percussion equipment will be supplied, but please bring your own snare drum sticks and Essential Elements Book.  The camp band will perform a concert for parents and guardians on Friday, August 7 at 2:15 PM in the UMS East Gym.  (For students entering grades 6th – 8th). Instructor(s):  Nancy Schultz and Daphne Monson
